Scene Size

Will performance hinder on actual scene size... have a 5000x5000 scene wanted to go little bigger for certain scene have people gone alot larger or is 5000x5000 big?

    of course anything big is going to make the performance worse and worse. i don't know about that though.

    It will have little to no effect. Depends more on the volume of actors.

    Thanks Possesive it more has to do with the amount of stuff happening within the actual iphone frame/resolution?

    Ie 100 actors animated on one screen performance killer

    100 animated actors spread over 5000x5000 with only a few animated on screen at one time much better..

    It's when the scene loads when everything has to load so can cause the scene to be slow to start. I would only suggest a large scene for menu's but not lots of levels but really depends on complexity on game but I wouldn't advise multiple levels in a scene :)
