What's goin on with the PAUSE feature?

hi dev team, just wondered if there's any update on when the pause behavior is gonna be available to us?

Pause works really well in the new build (which some of us are testing). It'll be available soon, and I'm sure you'll all like it.

It would also, I'd imagine, be really useful as an Inventory screen!

But, if it's going to be a month or more, I can't really afford to wait for it to drop... so I mean, what are the odds it will be out within a week or two?

They have said publicly that pause is coming in .9.1, and they also said in the "should i register as a Mac developer for the mac app store" to do it soon.
So i would expect it sooner than later

I mean, as in, let's say you have a laser on your ship - you reach 10,000 points - you generate an 'upgrade' button on the screen.
Tapping the button pauses the game and takes you to an upgrade screen. Here you offer laser v.2 for 2,000 game dollars you made up.
You buy the upgrade, go back to the main scene exactly where you left it! Fair to good.
