After my iPhone goes to sleep, the sounds in my game stop working.

If I pause the game I'm working on and press the sleep button on my iPhone and then come back to it, the sounds stop working. The music still works, but all of the sound effects don't. I have to completely quit the game (from multitasking) and relaunch it to solve the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a know fix for it?

Thank you.

when you come back to the game from after sleep do you launch from the screen or the multitasking area?

noticed yesterday when grandbaby was playing on the iPad that the sounds in the piano app (not GS) do not play if launched from the screen... but do so if launched from the multitasking. (poor baby... he knows to hit the screen icon to get to the piano...he was puzzled by no sound for his playing efforts and hated to give up the iPad so Mimmie could fix it... and a 12 month old gets very vocal when frustrated!)

I for one get upset with multitasking because the option to just close an app no longer exists... everything gets shoved in multitasking!

So... think you should complain to Apple about this... I am doing so...

Thank you, but even without getting out of the app - just by pressing the sleep button - the sounds stop working. It's very puzzling. I have finished my game, but I'm not sure I want to submit it to Apple before I have fixed the problem, which is looking unlikely at the moment...

Perhaps it's a problem with all of the .ogg files... I have just noticed that they are the files that aren't playing. The .m4a is.
