Sound cutting out

I'm having a problem with sound cutting out on the device. Music continues playing, but sound effects cut out all at once, then come back one at a time.

It usually happens when there is a lot going on... but my framerate isn't that bad. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

    I have the same problem, except my sound cuts out when my iPhone goes to sleep. Then when you play it again, the .ogg files stop playing. Music continues to play, just like yours. I hope there's a solution...

    I have the music, then 1 to 15 one-second sound effects playing at one time (averaging about 4). Is that too many?

    I'm also changing the pitch of the sound on the fly as a variable depending on the actor's position. Once scene in particular has a problem with this, and although it typically plays fewer sounds, I'm displaying more particles (say 6 objects with 20 each). I've had trouble figuring out the problem because it happens very occasionally.

    Similar problem here . No solution yet.
    I've tried with and without run to completion and made a copy of one sound which is played a lot to see if it has to do with addressing one sound a lot.

    It's fine on my mac but on the iPhone it starts snapping.
