Hello everyone i just found out about GS about 2 days ago and it seems like an amazing program. I am curious to know if when you make a game and publish it on itunes does GS keep any of the sales that you make on your game?

And also does the GS logo have to appear on your game?

Sorry if this is a stupid question : /

GS don't take a cut of anything from you, but you will need to sign up for an Apple development license for $99.

And yes, you have to have a GS splash screen as your game loads.

    hope that answers your quetions

GS Charges you $499 a year to use this software correct?
And have there been a lot of successful games on itunes that have actually made a revenue?

Gamesalad is free unless you want to use iAds or URL forwarding in your games.

You can even make full apps and put them onto the app store with only an apple developers account, without paying for Gamesalad itself.

Ah ok i see, thats pretty awesome.

So if you pay the $499 your game gets advertised? what exactly is iAds and URL forwarding? I know that i could search for the answer around here but since i made the post i might as well ask :P

iAds means you can put ads in your game so if someone clicks on them, you'll make money, sort of like how TV shows make money from ads.

URL forwarding is where you can put links in your game that go directly into safari when clicked.

P.S. any advertising for your game can be done here on the forums and on many app websites (I'm blanking on the names of them right now)
