New IOS = memory issue when closing game

Hi there!

since the new IOS update i have a memory issue with my game as it keeps running in the background and and no longer actually closes the app.. thus creating more and more jitters/bugs to my game. The frame rate drops and things that have collisions do not work the way they should any more... however at least i know my game does not crash after running for several days back to back..

<is there a way> to shut the game down when the user closes the app?

so it clears the memory?

    The user has to do it manually. I have seen this in mine too. The first time of playing the app store release of Galactic.Towers I closed the app around half way through. When I came back a few hours later It was at the same point in the game which was nice but it didn't matter how many times I beat and reset the level it never once registered I had beat it. After closing out and restarting the app manually with the double click feature It worked fine.

    by closing out.. do you mean hit the circle at the bottom of phone once.. then do a double click.. and then hold down till the red - shows up?

    not sure to many users would be aware of this process...

    i think its dumb that Apple put this in.. just keeps every app running that ive clicked on and even have not used in weeks...

    if any one figures out how to force a shut down that be great..
