I saw a lot of posts said "my app is total 30mb. or my app is total 25mb etc..."

But how can it be?? I just check the sample of GS "basic shoot them up" and "level unlock sample", they are just very basic sample and very small app but the GS viewer shows the total usage of them are 43mb and 34.5mb. There is no way that your app is even easier and smaller than a sample. My app is total 71mb now, the "other" of memory is 45mb. So anyone can explain this? Is this the problem of GS? Do i need to reinstall?

when people talk about getting three app under 20mb or whatever, there talking about the project size. That what show at the bottom right of the home screen in your gamesalad project. What shows in the viewer is memory usage, not the project size

The thing you have to worry about is the total memory displayed on the bottom right of the GS application, if it's bigger than 30mb (or even 20mb sometimes) Apple will have issues accepting it to their app store.
Or people on non-home wireless connection could have trouble downloading it. The memory usage window in the GS Viewer displays the usage, which helps to fix any crashing or slowdowns. If people say they are under 25mb that usually means that their total memory is under 25, because that's usually how small it has to be to send a GS game to the app store.

Yes it's something we keep an eye on all the time (total memory).

There are ways around this ever going up, this game http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/1up-gunman/id413883808?mt=8 released free with a template available in the marketplace stays at 10mb and never increases.

It takes some doing but can be done.

Think green and recycle, don't use spawn or destroy unless you have to and make sure any actors that don't move have movable unchecked, this will put you in good stead.
