how can i make a button move an object, for use with iphone

im trying to make a few app like pong. i cant find out how to get the button to move the paddle in pong.

    welcome .. you can also try opening Gamesalad and click file>new then click the +NEw tab. You will see a set of template games there which you can click and then click the Edit in Gamesalad Creator button on the lower right.

    the Basic table tennis one might be a good one to find paddle movement

    It's not that we're not all about helping you out, but you have to take the first steps and the initiative to learn the basics. Otherwise the community is literally building your game for you from the ground up. There are tons of good free demos available but you will have to search for them. Also please keep in mind most of your questions, especially at first, have probably been asked before so try searching the forum before creating a new post.
