GS Version 2+

I love using GS and have not felt the need to start using xcode and getting my old C books out to dry and master Obective-C. Going forward would GS look at being able to access some of the other functions within the iphone and ipod like take a picture and store, location information, game center and more.

It seems there is a need for app-salad so we can develop simple data driven and office style applications.

    If you look in the sticky there is a post about feature requests. There may still be a link to poll to rank some features as well as leave comments on additional features you would like to see. I would guess since GS primary purpose is Game Development they are not hold those types of features at a very high priority.
    Although some very good utility type apps have been created using GameSalad.

    We have made 2 non-games using Gamesalad.

    iLullaby - which is an animated musical nightlight for small children (we are just about to submit an update to that one
    Put a DONK on it - is a soundboard type app

    We are not the only people to have made some non games.
    Search around, and you should be able to find some stuff on the forums.
