Third Party Extensions

I'm new here and am starting to dive into gamesalad. I'm used to a very similar program for windows called multi media fusion (by clickteam)
One thing I think that gamesalad might be lacking in is third party extensions.
It can be really useful if you allow a third party to develop a extension to be used with gamesalad. It allows others to improve on what's possible.
For instance (I'm a noob so I might be wrong) but I understand there are no such things as arrays at the moment? A Third party developer could make an extension that fullfills that task.
What do you think?
