Keeping joystick relative to the camera

I am working on a game in which the camera follows the player, and the player is moved by a joystick on screen. How do I make the joystick stay at a certain position on the screen?
I have tried constraining the attribute self.Position.X to camOriginX with no avail. Help?

If you go into GameSalad Creator and search the 'Shared Projects' for 'Joystick' you can download the project and see how it works in the 2048x2048 scene.
