Does GameSalad offer a color sensing function?

I have started using GameSalad after previously using scratch and I was wondering if there is a colorsensing function along the lines of 'if actor is touching a specific color, one of that actors attributes changes'. Is there a function for this or how else can I get this effect?

Believe you can do a rule with first if actor overlaps or collides then also if attribute self.color.red = xxxxx etc

No not really. I can't seem to use the link that you posted. I know you understand Scratch, do you know how I can replicate the color sensing function from scratch into GameSalad so I can use it in Color Codex 4. you probally know how CC3 worked with color sensing, is there a way to color sense on GS? Thanks for you time:)
