ball collision help

I have a ball and im manually changing the acceleration once it collides with an actor. Is there any way without gravity to automatically reduce the acceleration of the actor by lets say 1/4 of its original speed? What density friction to make a collision inelastic, ie to be able to lose some of its speed to the ground.

    nevermind i got it :) i fixed the two restitutions of the actors
