Preview on iPhone - Needed to be Developer

Hi
Pls. could someone just say Yes or No?
Do I need to be a registered ($99) Apple Developer to be able to "Preview on iPhone"?
I see it in Xcode Simulator, but not in iPhone.
if no, I suppose I'm doing something wrong.

Do I need to install something from GameSalad in my iPhone? so that it will connect? I could find any apps.
