Development Provisioning Profiles

Ok how do I renew my provisioning profile. It's about to expire in 4 days and their is no renew button. Do I need to create another one? I'm so confused tshirtbooth needs to make a video on this lol because every 3 months they expire and I end up recreating all of my certificates in utter frustration.

    a renew button will appear once it has expired

    So I just click renew and download it again because I tried that last time and it didn't work ):
