The tracking is WAY off. Half the time the bullets never come close to the enemy. The enemies only move in one direction & never make any turns. This template is not even usable to make a basic TD game with. You have no pathing shown here, they just move in a straight line. This is not a template. If this sounds harsh I apologize I just can't stand people trying to make a quick buck off people, & no offense this is what it looks like here.
I know you been around here a while & I know you mean well, but I recommend taking this down & then putting it back up when it's finished & polished. Throw in some nice graphics/sound effects to help people get started then try to sell it.
But this is just to give people ideas.
Inside the project you dont know what is involved. I have done that on purpose. I have put the bullet time to be slow because do you really think it would be fun when the bullet always hits the enemy? Also no bullets are spawned in this template. only enemys.
I dont mean to start an argument or anything but this game is priced for $20 as for other people there are priced for 40+
regardless its not even about the money, I can care less about the money. If i cared about money why not just send this to apple and get some $$$ out of it???
I make templates to help the new people that join gamesalad to help them discover this wonderful tool and the magics of what it can do.
@jgary- you know, he probably worked hard on the physics and is just trying to help some people out.explaining the low price.
@eminem- jgary is right in the appeal category. If you REALLY want sales, you would go high end on art just to get the appeal and attention of others. He could have worded it a little nicer but still. Im not saying you should hire a top designer for a template. Just get someone average or do it yourself to get some decent graphics.

ill work even harder on my next release.
PS: I worked hard on this one dont you think i at least get a little $ out of it???
to be honest someone emailed me giving me the idea so i figured i make it. as i thought people will enjoy it.
Looks like no one did

Sure I `COULD` visualize a TD game with just white boxes & such, but it's a heck of a lot easier to visualize when there is some decent stuff already in place.
Eminem, no disrespect, I know you worked hard on this, but if you start by releasing half done templates people won't expect much from you. Everyone expects a lot from tshirtbooth & darren, because they have always shown excellence, don't tarnish your name with low quality stuff, you will never recover.
Good templates take time, especially with a TD template. There's a reason not very many people have tried to tackle a TD game. There are so many things that go on in a TD that it is VERY resource heavy. I just don't think GS is ready for that. You need a way to properly track all enemies, & constraining X/Y is very heavy on resources. There should be NO spawning at all.
I know you said you made it for ideas, but this still doesn't give much of an idea on how to make a proper TD game in GS. A template should not be just an idea. It should be something someone could literally change settings & have a base of a game.
Please don't let this discourage you. That is not what this was about. I probably came across a little harsh (it's been a hell of a year) & for that I am sorry. But again, once you release something that is not up to par, it will be very hard to get the reputation back up.
Once payment has been made a link will automatically pop up letting you download the template
My suggestion would be the same, take it down, polish it up, and re-post it when it's a fully working game. Templates are designed to be the foundation of a game, where the individual can tweak and add settings, not just a skeleton mockup.
Good luck!
I will be working on an update, so who ever had purchased this will be receiving an update when finished.
