Has anyone ever created a base game in GS & then asked third party developers to add more functionality to it?
I've been going through many of the templates & demos that I bought or downloaded
For example I want to create a dress up game based on a template, change the graphics & add a few things myself. Then I want a third party developer/programmer to add some things like
Save your character for editing
Save an image that can be used as a backdrop screen
I'm mainly wondering if it might be hard for thirdparty developers to work with a GS base program.
Has anyone experienced this?

generally, that is not something that you would do. It sounds a little like you wash your car at one car wash and drive to another one for the wax job.
Unless you know someone who develops with GS, you will get a little lecture and, sad to say, it will be expensive.
You see, if you bring a few templates and "ideas" to a professional, s/he has to do quite a bit of research to see the "big picture" and anyone that is good at what they do, will charge a minimum of $50 and up. WAY up!
So it would be better if you started simple and asked here on the forum how to complete additional steps.
It would also be smart to keep a "note book" for yourself so that you can review certain tasks and learn from how to do them.
If everything fails, remember these two words:
John
Papiomitis
Without him, I would not have been able to complete my first game and without my first game, I could have not made five more!
I'm not at the point of compiling yet so I didn't know it makes an actual app & not xCode for me to compile later.
In that case I might want to start simple.
@xyloFUN - Thanks it's actually more than a nick :-p
