"the request timed out"---*what the f...k*

I´m going maaaaad! It need nearly takes 20 tries just to copy my game to the iphone!!! *GGRRRR*
Of course I have installed and running GS Viewer on my iPhone and my Mac is in the same WLAN-Net, I also loged in to gamesalad.
Sometimes it stops while copying files to iphone with ""the request timed out" sometimes it just stops without any massage and sometimes works.

What the hell is wrong???

    The same thing has been happening to be. I'll tell you if I ever fix it I'm about to restore everything.

    This always happens to me or i get another error. When trying to use the viewer i will get about a success rate or around 0-5%. The other 95% im getting errors. I never used to get any of these problems, i've been using GS for over a year now too! I emailed GS and never recieved a reply, bit rude, especially as a PRO customer whose supposed to get a good level of support!

    Does it ever disconnect your phone from your wi fi? Thats something else i get, it hangs at some point and then my phone disconnects from wireless and i have to go back in, switch it off on the phone and then backon to be able to get on my wi fi again!

    I am going to also bump my post on this matter and re-email GS until i get a response. I was trying to wait for 0.9.1 which i thought was coming like last week but as theres still no sign of it i'll carry on asking for answers!

    Hi Beefy,

    yes my phone also about 80% disconnect wifi and request the wifi-password! This is only a problem when running gamesalad. It is not possible to copy the game at the first try without error-message!

    I've purely been testing on adhoc version for a few months now...I'll get round to installing GS viewer at some point but I wont rush as it sounds a bit buggy...It used to work fine.

    Never had any issue with the over the air connection to GS viewer, not on iPad, not on iPhone. You tried to make a adhoc network between the device to test it?

    Yes its soo frustrating! Especially as the project nears the end as you make lots of subtle changes and want to test them all! I cant make an ad-hoc build everytime i want to test it, that would be crazy.

    Im quite new to macs so havent done any adhoc networks, just my standard wi fi connecting only my macbook and phone.

    I was having problems trying to play my game on the viewer but it's fine now. Eventually I figured out that I had audio files (NOT music files) that were too big. Now that I've removed those large audio files it works fine.

    But maybe that's cos I'm testing on a 2nd gen ipod and it has a small amount of RAM?

    I have iPhone 4, and the problem is same.

    really? maybe they fixed it in .9.2 because it's working fine for my ipod 2nd gen. But couldn't you make an adhoc?

    When this occurs when I'm testing, I restart my computer and iPhone, and it seems to work just fine after that again. Maybe some sort of issue arises after a few builds?
