I am trying to publish my app to the app store. I used the "publishing" button to get my app file. but when i try to submit it. The application loader says it has the wrong identifier. so i go to the file and click "Show package Contents" And click the info.plist and click it and it says my bundle identifier is somthing like com.yourgame.gamsalad. i changed that to what i wanted and added my provisioning profile but that still didnt work. so please please please help me!

there is a video made by tshirtbooth on youtube which covers everything you need to do in order to successfully complete the submission.
Off the top of my head, you:
1 - log in to itunes
2 - created your ID (REMEMBER WHAT NAME YOU'VE PICKED)
3 - go to provisioning profile and create profile for distribution
4 - refresh screen and download the profile to your desktop
5 - double click that file which will bring up xCode
6 - in GS, start publishing process
7 - when you get to the screen where you choose the provisioning profile, use the drop-down and do so!
8 - finish publishing
9 - repeat process as often as necessary (publishing can take a few tries)
10 - while your file uploads, TURN DOWN YOUR SOUND VOLUME !!!
11 - save .app file on your desktop
12 - compress it so that you have a gamename.app.zip
13 - log into itunes and "create" your new package
14 - fill in the info (you have about 6 days to tweak that)
15 - after adding the icon and screen shots, click the newly created app
16 - prepare for upload
17 - confirm that your app does not include encryption (check NO option)
18 - done with iTunes
19 - in finder, type: applicationloader
20 - open applicationloader and follow prompts
post again if you are stuck at a particular level
Thanks
Im at the part where you import the file to the apllication loader!
If you have done everything right, a little (small) grey popup window opens with the name of your app displayed.
If that is not the case, then you did something wrong along the way!
IF it does display, click next
I think there is also a confirmation regarding that you tested on iOS4
THEN you get to choose your appname.app.zip file to upload
Doing that will take a bit and once completed, you can close the window.
Apple will send you a confirmation email that your app status has changed.
AGAIN, if Applicationloader does NOT let you select you app (with the right version number), than you have done something wrong.
PLEASE find (google) tshirtbooth's video on submitting an app to the app store and follow that.
He does a great job explaining all the steps and although it's a little dated, it sill does the trick!
