A decent marketplace coming soon...

Hey guys,

I'm working on a better marketplace for ALL mobile app developers. I've seen a few pop up here and there, but none give you the functions you guys need. So I'm setting that up now, and it should be done soon. This marketplace is built off your requirements from a marketplace, so please let me know what else you want/need.

As of now:
Payments are handled by the sellers, not the marketplace (why let others hold money for your stuff then pay you? until more cred is built up, no one is going to be willing to do that)
each seller will have their own store, with custom domain mapping coming soon. meaning register your own domains, and use the store platform. and your stores are fully customizable, with preloaded goodies to help your store be awesome. add products to your store, easily configure your payment options and your ready to go

this is for all GS game makers, graphic designers, corona devlopers, etc. any mobile dev product.

Ah yet another place for people to have to look for stuff. Why can everyone not be satisfied for now with the marketplace thread. It's more than we have had in the past and GS has implied they are looking into beefing it up into a legit marketplace. So why not just give it chance and quit trying to replace it before its really taken off.

its not that its another place to look for stuff. the way the market is right now is unorganized and scattered. scouring multiple forums isn't the greatest way to buy or trade things.

and secondly, the market needs something better now. if you're happy here, no one is twisting your arm to sell on another site. but if you actually want a good site to sell stuff and manage downloads and product delivery, then where do you go? how do you get more buyers than just a few forum members? a few other marketplaces have popped up, but i have see none actually running and/or meeting the needs of the market.

plus a central hub is great for selling anything. i'll be marketing this site extensively, which equals more buyers for sellers. you'll have your own customizable stores, even with the ability to set your own domain names. what about automated product delivery? is GameSalad working on this too? probably not.

this forum marketplace isn't even divided into categories yet. dont get me wrong, im not busting anyones chops. gamesalad is a tool. they shouldnt even have to worry about developing a marketplace. they should keep working on their program. i am building something completely different. I am focusing on meeting the needs of buyers and sellers in a developing marketplace.

like I said, feel free to wait for what you need, or you can get it all now. very simple. =D

its being developed see the countdown timer on the site? I don't roll out projects that aren't done.

if fact, if anyone is interested in being a beta tester while I work out the bugs and finish development, shoot me an email at the address above. this could make the release date sooner
