Scene loading ... a general question/investigation

We are currently in the middle of making our new game, and are in the process of making the levels now...and during testing it's got me thinking.

How does GS handle the scenes that differs from how you would do it in say Corona.
(if anyone knows...maybe a CodeMonkey can shed some light...or Joe seeing as though he has converted a project over)

Obviously when we do a change scene behaviour, it loads up the loading wheel, and in the new scene with a load time that seems determined by how large the scene is and how many objects are in there.

As an example of Corona...check out a free game called "Blast Monkeys" (it's free, and has 25 levels). Moving from level to level is really nice and seamless in that.

Just wondering if it was on the cards with the dev staff to make scene changing more seamless in GS...but mainly just wondered if anyone could shed a bit of light on how scene handling differs between the 2 products. (I've not really had enough time to delve too deep with Corona myself yet)

Sparks.
