Are we forced to upgrade?

Hi,
i don't use any of the new features the 0.9.1 update offers and wonder if we "have to" upgrade if we want to complete games???
Having read that there are issues, I'd rather stay with how things are UNLESS the memory leak has been improved?

Any news on that? Does GS still need to be restarted every few minutes?

    Its a hell of alot faster now :) And the only thing you would have to worry about by not upgrading is if the publishing server is updated to only take 0.9.1

    yea i did notice a slight increase in speed. i hope the memory leaks fixed a little too :)

    "A hell of a lot" ... like a scooter compared to a BMX bike?
    or a motor bike compared to a scooter?
    or an F14 compared to a Ducati?

    Just for the record, if all you do is cross the road, than a BMX bike is better than an F14 ;)

    Well i havent closed gamesalad since downloading and no problesm yet! Also no lag yet from switchin back from preview

    Just pushed my 0.9.0 project through the 0.9.1 publishing server and all seems to be working. So it appears you don't have to upgrade.

    @xyloFUN 0.9.0 publishing is still there in theory, but we haven't tested for backwards compatibility.
    0.9.1 has some significant upgrades in the publishing flow that will reduce problems with publishing, and I didn't push to have 0.9.0 tested against the server updates that match the 0.9.1. publishing flow updates.

    If you have a problem with 0.9.0 processing Write into the contact or bug report forms if you run in to problem (with as much detail as possible) and I'll see if fixes are possible

    actually, i've installed the 091 gs viewer so i should be good to go for a while ...

    on a side note: I was glad to see that the screenshots are being cleared out now before we publish! That's one less thing to remember :)
