Has anyone got a game for sale in both ipad and ipod formats?, if so what are the sales % for each. I am interested in seeing if the ipod sales are drastically higher.

Thanks

John

My best selling game was an iPad game. Although, I haven't been able to duplicate that. Heh... lately, both my iPod and iPad games have been performing poorly.

Well my game did 20, 12, 8, 3, and then yesterday 4 as an iPad game, I'm thinking maybe there s more chance selling games on the iPod or iPhone, biggrer market maybe.

Both markets have their own advantages and disadvantages.

With iPad you have much less competition. Just over 60,000 apps in the store. That and, its acceptable to set your price points a little higher. Of course, you really need to back the higher price with a great(er) user experience.

With iPhone/iPod, you have way more users, but much more competition!

It also depends largely on the app itself. I submitted my first iPad app to Apple last friday, so my knowledge up to this point is just theoretical. However, both my iPhone apps (iJetSki and iShoot It) are doing fairly well in the iPhone market, selling anywhere from 10 to 20 copies a day each.
