Accelerometer going crazy on iPad ?

My accelerometer goes crazy on iPad and goes where it wants, it works fine on my laptop (using keys)

Im following TshirtBooth's tutorial, any ideas ? do i need to change something for it to work on iPad ?

    Well im testing on iPad using GS viewer.
    It seems to be going the opposite i think, or it just has a mind of it own.

    HI, perhaps you could check things with a smart little utility app called 'iDevices' on the app store. it's free and gives the read outs of the accelerometer (as well as touch counts). cheers alan

    I'm having the same issue with the iPad. It's not reversed, just completely erratic and wants to lead Dow and right. Oddly enough, even in Gamesalad preview it does the same thing. Remove the accelerometer condition on the move rule, and it behaves normally.

    If its doing it on the gamesalad preview you have some other rule causeing it or conflicting with it. Theres no acceloremeter on the computer, so the tilt rules have no effect.

    Like tshirt said the videos a litle old and is oppososite. Im sure hes working on a new one, but if you cant figure it out on your own(which youll be able to just by switching around the x and y and < and >) then ill post something for you to check out when im done writing my term paper
