Weird Framey-ness on only one object of many

This *may* have co-incided with update to 0.9.1. I don't recall noticing it with 0.9.0.

I'm working on an Asteroids-type game, and suddenly one of the asteroids on the screen is very framey, updating less frequently than all the other, completely identical asteroids. When that asteroid is hit, and breaks into three smaller asteroids, one of *those* asteroids then becomes the framey-one. All other asteroids on the screen of any size behave completely normally.

I tried this with the default Space Rocks example, and naturally it doesn't happen.

Has anyone seen anything similar?
