"save attribute" saves attribute even if you exit the game?

i'm trying a new game / continue thing with my game.

turn on the game on ur device it says "new game" and "continue game"

i have an integer attribute right? and when a level 2 starts, it ask if "u would like to save", if you touch "yes" will change said attribute to "2" and then i added the "save attribute" behavior aswell. so it SHOULD save it forever right? until i save another level over it? and if i exit the game and go to another app (on my device ofcourse) and then several hours later go back to my game and hit "continue" instead of "new game" it SHOULd load stage 2 (in this case) correct??

now i can't confirm this on gs nor the gs viewer. should i be able too? is there ANYWAY i can really test this before releasing the game?

    i mean is there a way i can install it on my device without releasing it to the appstore xcode maybe?

    Just for the record its 9pm here in Australia.

    Anyway I would like to know the answer myself, but I assume that it would work as the save attribute does exactly that-it saves the attribute (forever I would hope), I mean I don't know of any other way to achieve what you want. But then again I'm still pretty new to Game Salad :)

    exactly, its not 4am everywhere lol

    anyways, yea i'm trynna make sure of this. i mean i'm also trynna fix yet ANOTHER issues that has occurred out of the blue, but thats another thread :)

    @QbAnYtO yup, if you have an attribute that you change every time you start a new level do a save attribute for it at the same time, so that each time the attribute is changed it gets saved immediately to the device.

    You need to test it on a device to make sure it's working properly, as the viewer doesn't emulate the software saving and storing the changes.

    Hey if you wanna test your app to see if stuff works then check this link I just found in another forum thread: http://testflightapp.com/ I haven't used it so I don't know if/how it works, but it might do the trick.

    ah ok. how do i load the save?

    in the the title screen i have "continue" but when i click it doesnt load the stage i saved...??

    This doesn't help at all!!! I have saved the attribute and loaded it at the first scene.... But when you exit the app in the AdHoc version it does NOT save to your device. I have tried everything! Does anyone know the real answer?!!

    save does work in adhoc. you values are either not saving properly or loading properly. or doing something wrong with the testing the game.
