Well I spent part of the day yesterday setting up the Mac App Store account and preparing Rodent Rage, it's quite a simple process as it's very similar to iOS.

The only thing to do now is wait and then possibly get rejected LOL. I've been reading that wait times are 10-11 days typical for the Mac App Store, and a LOT more get rejected then iOS. :o

I'm waiting for my rejection too, especially since it's the same app that is on iPhone & iPad. But it would be useful on the mac... sigh... I have a feeling I've donated 99 dollars to apple for the mac store.

That was my thought too...as it's my only game so far (soon to have a couple more), but yeah I've read in a few places that it needs to be different somehow than on iOS? I don't believe that as look at the other games on there currently.

    When did you submit?

Head over to iphonesdk.com. I was reading there one guy was waiting that long. I thought too that it wouldn't take as long because of sheer volume...who the heck knows eh? We'll see but I'll keep ya'll posted.

What 4 are you bringing over?

Oh and ps. Does 'Subscribe to Email' not work here anymore?

    Best of luck on approval!

From what I know on mac app store rejection, it MUST have keyboard and mouse support, if you are direct porting, be sure to remove any reference to iOS version such as using the word "touch" or any other iOS interface gestures (ex. touch to start, swipe to start", etc.).

I just submitted last night. But I hadn't changed the touch since it worked with the mouse. Maybe I'll pull the file and resubmit?

From what I've read on the web, everyone who still had "touch" in their game has gotten rejected. Apple is very thorough when searching for this stuff. Probably best to pull the file and resubmit so you do not have to wait 10 days to find out if it was rejected. Better to be safe than sorry.

    Ahhhh nooooo..

Ok thanks lol, Time to pull 'er down.

Keyboard and mouse support eh? Difficult when it's a Cannon-style game (like Angry Birds)
