btw does the viewer represent the finished product??
anyways yea i did recreate the rule and problems still persist. man was almost done and gonna submi my app today
also on level 3 the "do you want to save?" button doesnt pop up grr!!!!
I'd pretty much resigned the project to the bin, and was getting ready to start it over from scratch, when I thought I'd put it through Darren/Waynes GS Project Attributes utility to see if it might help... and it did. The utility didnt report any issues, but when I exported the file, it seemed to have cleaned up whatever the problem was and give me a new working version.
So if youve been working on your project for a while, and cant track down the problem, it might be worth buying the GS Project Attributes utility to see if it might fix it.
Its a great utility, and well worth the money.
The newly saved file then worked perfectly when I tried it on the viewer and did an adhoc build.
The utility is great for tracking down unused/redundant assets and attributes, and for organising your attributes better. It seems that it does something behind the scenes too though, and can help fix some hidden issues.
Wayne explained it a bit, that theres sometimes "anomalies" can creep into the XML file, and that the utility checks and compares for them from between GameSalad versions and repairs them if it finds them.... or something like that.
