How does updating my app work?

I have a couple of updates I wanna do to my apps. Is it as simple as redoing the process I did the first time around? I don't have to creat a new app right? Say I wanna add extra levels to my game a month from now, do I just add them on the gs software and reimpose using the same provisions and what not? I think I was an "update" button in iTunes connect somewhere. Hmm. Do you guys update ur apps?

Also I'm assuming updates have the same reviewing process?

you login to itunes connect and hit the big "Add Version" button and fill in the information. once that is complete and the status is waiting for upload or whatever it is, use the app loader to upload the new version. after the review process is complete it get's released to the app store

When you log into itunes connect click manage your apps, Click on the app you want to update. Youll see something that says update, add new version or something along that lines. You click that fill out all the info for your next version then once you submit that application loader will reconize and let you select the update to load a app with.

Then in gamesalad you take the updateed game file with what you added, publish, youll see your old app and will be able to update it by clicking it. You build with the same provisiong profile as the old version. ALso when your typing the update info in gamesalad make sure the version number you put in gamesalad is the same as the one you put in itunes connect for your update or apple will reject it. Also make sure to press enter after typing in the version in gamesalad publishing.

Then after its published zip open application loader select the update and upload.
