Collide while in Drag

I'm creating a standard MAZE game, and when I drag the main Actor it passes right through the walls. When I release the Actor it snaps back into proper position between the walls. After some testing, I know that the main actor is detecting the walls with the collide tag, but how come collide only works within a physics simulation and not during a drag?

You may want to try having the actor accelerate towards the mouse x and y. You may be able to have a system where you only have it accelerate when it is a certain distance away from your mouse (use magnitude) so that it doesn't do the weird "dance around the mouse" thing when it overlaps with the mouse. If you get the acceleration and drag set right along with the magnitude setting you may get it to act pretty close to a constrain without losing your natural collisions.

Is this something that might be resolved soon or should I begin looking for another software?

here try playing around with this:

In the New section of the GS start screen type "Fake Constrain With Collisions" in the search box and click the little curvy arrow button. I just made it as a quick work around. You'll want to tweak it to your game needs.

That looks great - I'll give it a try. Thank you very much.
