Just a question, what's really the advantages with these tools? compared without them?

Thank you to everyone, both myself and Darren are really happy the tools are helping.
SebMacFly, awesome screen shot! Looks ace. Just for that, I think we can arrange something - drop Darren a mail, he'll sort you out, errr, probably tell him Wayne said.....

Imperium: the main advantage is, speed, efficiency, and quality.

Merger will merge multiple projects together in seconds.
Optimizer will compress, report and review your project.
Attribures will allow you to reorder Game Variables quickly
Resizer will repurpose your project to deploy to iPad, iPhone and Mac App Store.

:( I don't have any. If I had any money at all I would buy them, but alas, I spent all my money on Darren and Wanyes' templates. :(

With the tools we have access to debugging our projects. With the lack of any kind of debugger built into GameSalad it can be very time consuming trying to track issues down like broken or incorrect attributes... The tools Darren & Wayne are developing are changing that, and giving us much more control access and flexibility with our project files.

I still think it's shocking that GameSalad hasn't cut a deal and bought up the tools to add to, and strengthen GameSalad as a core product, but Im glad the tools are available, even if they do have to be purchased separately.

I'm pretty shocked to tbh, i opened up talks with the guys along time ago and even though they love what were doing no offer has been put on the table :(

Yeah, they're some great tools. Although I'm waiting for the Australian Dollar to keep climbing so that 60GBP for the tools I want doesn't seem so expensive after correcting for exchange rates:) haha

Just buy them now and have it done with. Trust me, they wont seem expensive when they're saving you hours of time and a hell of a lot of concentration :) All you have to do is use each product once and they've paid for themselves in my opinion.

To be fair .91 has started to include debugging. When you open an actor, if it has missing attributes you'll get error messages. But yes, a built in tool that doesn't require you to open each actor would be much better.

@Darren/Wayne Am I doing something wrong with your attributes tool? When i click the button to count how many times each attribute is used, and in how many scenes - it gives me huge numbers (e.g saying i used an attribute in 150 scenes when i only have 3 scenes in my project). Maybe I'm not using/reading the tool correctly?

hmmm, that project optimiser does sound enticing...what the hell, I'd probably waste the money on booze anyway

Edit: Just bought it and can't wait to use it! Although I don't know why its downloading at 10kb/s :s ... this is gonna take a while

you guys should make it available on the MAC App store :D, that way you can easily update everything without sending 100 mails, don't you think?
