I'd sure like to know who felt it was appropriate tom Move my announcement of my template update to the marketplace when the Optimizer has been left on the main page for 24 hours or more as well as the TSB 24hour template sale was posted an left to the main page. It pretty shitty Our sous-chefs don't have to follow the same posting rules the rest of the community does. All my post was was an announcement with a link to the marketplace thread. there was no need to move It and call bull !@#$% on this whole marketplace deal when the ones with the power to move threads don't follow the same rules.

I mean call me crazy but am I the only one that notices that crap?

    Oh wait, before I forget, did you actually see it post? I was just responding to Darren's Shadow Run thread and it took like 10 attempts to finally get it to go through. It kept indicating that I was too fast.

    Well unfortunately I'm to pissed off right now to worry if anyone saw it. Its more I'm sick of the massively changing attitude of the guys that have been around who seem to think theres a different set of rules for them

    i didn't move it, but i do believe there needs to be a consistant enforcement going on. either _everything_ that is sold needs to go to the marketplace or nothing should, we shouldn't be playing favorites.

    Well my quick scroll down the main page show three other posts with stuff for sale and mine was just an announcement with a link where to go to discuss it. So if it is just GS staff they've done a pretty piss poor job with there clean up. I really think those carrying a sous-chef title should be the last to be breaking the rules. Bad enough I've seen several sous-chef started threads have symbols added days latter to their thread titles to draw more attention. Funny I don't have the ability to draw more attention to my posts a few days later or hell even as soon as I click submit. It's almost like people are abusing their privileges for their own benefit.

    Oh and Sorry I was incorrect there are actually 4 posts TSB started a Sticky which is basically a GS Tools Advertisement. Don't get me wrong guys I know they're great tools and cant wait till I can afford them but thats just bull. Thats an abuse of your privileges.

    This is why there needs to be a dedicated marketplace on the site, rather then using the forum to do this sort of stuff.

    I am all for an official marketplace instead of the market place we have now. But again, if we did, others would be posting links to whatever site their template is on to advertise in the forum. It will happen most likely considering many people hang around the forum and many new comers won't know where the market place is, so less buyers.

    I think th marketplace thing would be awesome. I don't ever see them getting involved to the extent of a 70/30 split.

    And just to clear things up. I wasn't directing all of my frustrations at TSB. He just caught the worst of it. I was/am pissed at the whole situation. Sorry TSB

    A dedicated marketplace would be great. I think you should be able to put your template in the main working with gamesalad forum for 24 hours before it gets moved, just to bring attention to its release.
