iPhone Screen Sizes

New here and to GS so forgive my basic question!

Trying to find out the full screen image sizes for the iPhone... Can't seem to find a reference to them anywhere?

    320x480 for a 3GS and below
    640x960 for an iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4g

    Read the thread a couple down about resolution independence for a little more info.

    Thanks for the reply.... but if I create a 640x960 image and bring it into GS it is too big for the scene?

    Just position it and either change it's size in GS to 640x960 or stretch it down to fit, it'll then be displayed full res on a retina display and at 320x480 on a standard display if you tick resolution independence.
