Game reset problem and collisions

Hello everyone,

I seem to have problems with resetting the game. When i press my own reset button, the game will reset but the health bar will be gone and my character will flash once but then nothing. How can I solve this?

2. Why my actor goes close to another(with collision) but not touching, the main actor will lose life even though he is not touching anything else.

remember, the collision is defined by BOXES around the outside of the character,
or a circle inside? no other options YET

so they may actually have collided already
