gamesalad doesnt release the memory when you spawn and destroy an actor. So if you keep spawnign continusly threw your game the memory will eventualy build up enough to crash your game.

It depeds on how many spawns you have, run in the viewer and watch the memory mb at the bottom of the data it gives you. A 2nd gen device will crash when the memory builds up to around 55 ish

Hmm, this may pose a serious problem for my game...

you can have all your actors offscren when you want to spawn something just move the actor thats offsreen onto the screen by changing its position, then when you want to destroy move it offscreen again

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea in theory, but I have a LOT spawning and flying around...

I am making a bubble shooter type game. So of course lots of bubbles are going to be spawning and randomly being generated.
