Anyone using the iPhone to make "demo" youtube movies? I wonder what would be ..

Hey gang,
my camera is "aging" and I like the quality of my iPhone a lot better.

But I can not find a good way to mount it so that I could film myself playing on the iPad.

Is anyone using the iPhone4 for filming and if yes, what's a good way to improvise a "make shift" tripod adapter or device that holds it in place?

The keyword here is "hold" so putting it in my mouth is not an option! LOL

Anyone?

    i was gonna say you can tape it to your forhead, but i guess thats out of the question...

    could you maybe tape it down on a desk so the camera hangs over and play underneath?

    kind of like you suggest, i just confiscated a night lamp and attached the phone with an elastic.
    The first 15 seconds, everything worked but then the weight of the camera begun to slowly give me that "artificial zoom in" which i didn't want. LOL

    I have to think of something else ...

    I wish i had a neighbor by the name of Wilson!

    Now that i had a chance to look at it again, that is EXACTLY what I need!

    Thanks for sparing me the "glue" idea as was suggested.

    You see, if all i want is to promote my apps, than crazy gluing an iPhone to my forehead will get me on the evening news ... all i would have to do is slip in a little ad for my apps ;)

    Hey xylo, I don't know what the glif runs, but you could probably find a cheap iPhone stand on eBay. Just a thought. Good luck!

    i try but these "mods" think they are "GODS" and its xtremely immature.

    actually is just him. all the other mods are cool, mature and down to earth. this guy has closed other ppls threads and is ALWAYS saying something negtive to posters...its quite immature really. but like i said.. nothing serious moving on...

    so anyways, have u decided which way ur gonna go? tripod? glue? hire someone tohold it :p

    I just remembered that i have an old laptop with a Logitech camera that should be able to do what I need plus, the laptop is sturdy so it wont move.

    Ether way, my apps are not going to be approved until Fridayish so I have a bit to experiment. :)

    this is true. remember that the iphone 4 camera is SO AWESOME that it pics up the pixels on your monitor so i might work against u.... try focusing from a distance.... unless you have an hd monitor :p

    he posted a picture that would have gotten many people a trip to the HR department if someone saw over their shoulder, and he did it on purpose to trick people

    it was a picture of a fat lady, dreamlab.. simple as that. jonny boy here used his super mod power to delete it :/ i guess some kids don't grow up :/

    i was only trying to bring in some humour and some ppl pmed me telling me it was hilarious. but nope...not jon....

    don't know if he has issues with women... that begs the question :(

    Stop whining.

    I'll admit, I get mildly upset when threads get closed sometimes, but it's almost always for a good reason. Quite frankly, the past week or so has been horrible for the forums. This forum used to be incredible, but it's all going downhill because of stuff like this. You can't blame the problems on the lack of control from people on top because right now, you're complaining exactly because of that.
