    He got a student discount. Master's for 500 something.

    600 but yah. student discount is everything. if there were no student discounts, I would have torrented them. I CANNOT live without these programs. I use after effects ALL the time. flash I use time to time. Illustrator is my top used. and photoshop I use a little less than after effects. the rest, like dream weaver, fireworks,ect. I don't really use. but they look cool on my dock. lol

    I wanted a tablet, I had the money, but decided not to get one. Maybe later when I have MORE money. lol. there are other things I want more. It helps, but lets compare it to darrens tools.
    the tablet is great for drawing INSIDE of illustrator. but its kinda hard. you have to look at the screen and not look down. and if drawing and scanning saves me 300$, than I am all for that. now for darrens tools, that makes a big difference in time and effort. The tablet isnt needed.

    what the heck? this thread has changed titles like 3 times now. and I am not a sous chef so I can't be blamed. I am trying to stick with the title but you keep changing it! lol. ahah. who did that btw? the change to "how can we get darren back?" title.

    I think we all should get one thread for stuff like this. All this post was, was a question for DL. I wanted to reuse this post insted of starting a new one because DL answered my question. I then changes the topic and post to have it changed again by a sous chef. Sry for all the crazyness... It was just a simple question.
