Help stop hero from rolling

I purchased a template a few days ago from Utopia games. The main actor Hero is a rolling ball. I'd like to switch him over to an animation. I've figured out how to do the animation. I just can not find where to stop the Hero from rolling and instead just move left, right and/or up.

    Many thanks. That little tidbit was getting to me. Searched for an answer for several days before asking.
