Viewer not installing?

I've been trying to update my Gamesalad viewer to 9.2 and I'm following tshirtbooth's lovely video tutorial. But when I get the the push build and install part all it does is open up the ios simulator instead of installing it on my ipod. Anyone know what to do or what I'm doing wrong? I havent had this problem in the past two that I've done.

at the top left itlll say simulator/debug

change it to device/debug

I am getting an error on my GS Viewer saying GameSalad Creator not open even though it is please help me??

if you mean you have gamesalad open and the viewer open but it says cannot find gamesald creator on the viewer, make sure the wifi network you device is on and thewifi network your computers on is the same

Try restarting your router, simple but did the trick for me last time.
