How do I make an actor fall in an arched path?

Hello everyone. Basically, I'm trying to make a comet effect, I'm setting the comet actor to accelerate diagonally downwards, and using particles for the trail. It looks pretty decent, except I want it to fall to Earth in a more arched/curved path so it looks a bit more natural, and maybe get a bit bigger as it falls. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Thanks in advance

you'll have to probably put a quadratic equation into your movement path behaviour, if you're boring and you have a lot of time on your hands.
    (sorry bad math joke)

I think the past way to do this would probably put your behaviour in a timer and increase the X and decrease the Y every... 0.01 seconds depending on how fast you want it. Your X incriments would have to be bigger than the Y though, or else it'll probably still fall on a diagonal.

I'm sorry I can't test this for you, but I'm having some camera issues with my GS

Hi guys, thanks a lot for the quick responses. GsLover thanks very much for the effort, much appreciated:). I've just had a brief look, though in the template, it seems to fall down in a zigzaggy motion, is there any way it could fall down in a more curved path? Okysho, thanks for the tips, I'll have a fiddle around with it tonight

That's exactly the kind of curve I was looking for. Thanks!
