I'd imagine it depends on the game. Like everything, the more time and effort you put into a game, the higher the likelihood that the game does better. If you release a game with poor graphics, no music/sound, no features or anything cool then you'll probably do pretty poorly.

With a game produced with GS?
I don't believe that someone who frequents this forum hits 4 grand a months continuously. And while having reached that number once or twice, it still does not qualify as an "per month" option. Call me Thomas!
Even though I haven't released a game, since I'm using edited sprites, I can't make any money off of it. Besides, it's in a game designer's description to be overpaid

FireMapleGames has made over 75k with his game secret of grisly manor, and that came out in late november early december, and I think I recall Tshirtbooth reporting he was making about $125-$200 last summer.
During game release 2 weeks it tends to be around $200 a day, during idle periods it averages $75 - $120 a day. Anywhere between $2000 and $3000 a month usually.
This has been asked a few times but I think it means a lot more if you know how many games someone has up, the average sale price and how much time was spent in development. I have 8 apps up. Most are ignored but a few get constant sales like my Japanese abacus. The least I've brought in since April is 35 a month though sales are tanking this month. Highest was 75 a month. I'm trying to create simple but addictive games. So far I've got the simple part down.
hmmm ... did I post an image (yesterday) showing a pie graph with this months earnings so far? I can't find that post ... was it this one and if yes, was the image removed?
Sorry ... i'm showing early stages of Alzheimers again!
Guys thank for your answers. It seems if you spare time to make games you can make money. Also if you have a good game (graphics , sounds ...) maybe for a small period you earn good amount of money. But neverthless it is fun to make games )

I am new to this and starting off in the first half of the year must be tougher than in the second half?
