Marketing Questions

So I'm starting to get into gamesalad after my quick learining game hit fourty eight sales in two days after release. I'm still in highschool and still too young for most places to hire so any money is good to me. I just have a few questions for the more experienced app developers.

First off, how does ipad sales compare to ipod/iphone sales. If I quickly port my game over, will it sell well? Also, how does updating affect sales? If i'm correct it bumps your app back up to newly released which should allow more people to see it thus increasing sale rates for a small time being. I'm thinking about doing minor updates once a week to keep my game up at the top!

Nice idea, but people abusing the system in just this way means that Apple no longer marks updates as 'new releases'.

    QS :D

Yeah, the app store has been out for a while, and anything you can think of to keep at the top has already been thought of and abused, and Apple has put an end to. Outside of having good sales, there is no other way to stay at the top anymore.
