I am working on an update of my game for retina display. In the Gameslad Scene window and on the disk the completed game was 27.6 MB. But When I published the game in gamesalad the .app file produced is 47.8 MB in size. I have no idea what's going on. Is there any way to reduce this?

I think that's because the end product includes the assets for both the retina and normal version.

dang so that means for my game with retina display, I have to have the finished game be about 10 mb in GameSalad?

When I saw the contents of the .app, I found there's one resized to half image for each image I used in the project. Which means I have 90 High Rez images + 90 Low rez images. This is not great. I am trying one option I will uncheck "Resolution Independence" option and will test on both the devices iPhone 4, and iPhone 3G and will see how its going to work. The main thing will be memory consumption, if it is good on iPhone 3G, then I will go with this. I will post my findings...

So on the project editor home screen, in the bottom right it gives a project size (mine says 2.5MB). Does this account for the increase in size when you publish?
