Updated Flutterby very slow to load

The updated version of flutterby from the appstore takes about 16 seconds to load on my 3GS whereas it took about 5.5 before. Is this the effect that the latest engine will have on all GS apps?

    From my experience all GS apps are pretty lengthy to load on the iPhone.

    The point is that this was an update to the game engine which effects everyone. A smaller memory footprint for a three times loading time trade does not seem the right way to go. Is no one else that bothered about this?
