I understand that to make things that arent rectangles or circles you need to somehow attach them, how would I make this happen?

the games "tumble jumble" certainly has triangles in it and was made with gamesalad

as well as this demo....can anyone offer me help with this?

Hi there , We can not do triangles in GS
Tumble jumble was not made in GS i think darren had that coded. And the GS demo you posted yes looks like you can but not for real. That is why the triangles are not moving. There just triangle images with invisible rectangles around to act as boarders so it gives the effect of a triangle.

    hope that helps.

    cheers

im watching the demo right now and it really really really looks like the un-moveable triangles have real physics on all sides, i dont see collisions with any invisible bounding box...

How can you see something that's invisible anyway? :P

It's definitely, one million percent done with invisible actors. My latest game Ants has some pretty wild collision shapes going one with some rectangle actors, math and attributes making it possible.

pretty sure you can take tshirtbooths help 'to the bank' on this one. Here is another example and this ones downloadable so you can see how it's done:
