Farmville style of graphics

I would like to do some artwork in the style of Zynga's Farmville and Frontierville. What would you call their graphic style? How would I reproduce that style in Photoshop? Is it just reducing the number of colors? Or some vector filters?

Thanks,
Steverd

    No One?

Should this post be moved to the Graphic section?

Frontierville gives the impression of cell shaded graphics on the buildings (i'm sure there are tutorials online somewhere for doing this), farmville a little. The rest is just nicely drawn sprites, sure the palette is limited to keep a consistant look. I don't think there is a tutorial really for this, you just need to draw it in that style.

Yeah, as Stu said, it's just nicely drawn... Can't see it being too difficult to reproduce.

consistant perspective is important in any of these isometric kinda games.

actually while i'm thinking about it I'm sure you can do this kinda cell shaded/comic book type effect in google sketchup.

+1 to Stu on the perspective! Also, I've never used Sketchup but from what I've heard of it, yeah I reckon so. I'm a Photoshop junkie and would do it in that, but perspective-wise, you're probably going to achieve it easier with something like Sketchup.
