New Features or A GS that works? What do you want to see?

Ok GS community, I am just as excited as all of you about the prospect of new features. But I would like to propose the idea of communicating to the Devs that getting to a stable 1.0 version of GS is a priority before adding more features.
It is frustrating to work with this software in the state it is in (currently 0.9.2). There are too many slow downs, crashes, and glitches. And I personally feel that they are trying to beat around the bush and keep us all placated by feeding us features one at a time. They have the monopoly on easy to use app creation software, which basically means they can treat us however they please. But having that attitude is going to backfire bigtime when a newer and more functional software comes around. Which it will, especially at the pace they are updating GS. So here are some thoughts:
•I say if it is totally free software, make it open source. At least then there is a chance of bugs getting worked through and progressing out of this "sandbox" model.
•If it is paid software (many of us did have to pay for it) then I think we deserve to have a stable foundation to work on before adding more features.
*I Just want to state that I am grateful to be able to make a living using this software. But the bottom line is that I have to make a living, and if GS doesn't work and something else does, I am going to that something else. Deep down I am rooting for the Devs, I want to see tool improve. I think it can be great and I would gladly stick with it if I saw a little more logical progress.
I would love to hear others' opinions on this and I would hope the Devs would too.

@cbowers428... in one sense i agree with you. But I have to make the point that the app store is an extremely competitive, and very often time sensitive market. If the limitations of this tool makes our production time extremely slow. I spend more time waiting than I do working. I could really fly through prototyping my apps if the slow-downs and crashes weren't happening. And for this reason it is affecting my bottom line. And many other developers here as well.
I'll also reiterate that I am not making an argument against adding features. I want the features as much as you do. I would give a happy ending for a webview, iPod and camera access, etc. But adding more features will probably make the performance even worse! It needs a serious overhaul under the hood.
@Gabbyr... I agree that the pace of the updates is one of the issues here.
