Rule Editor Pane Missing

I have created a new project and have added a HUD and several actors along with a good amount of events. For some reason or another I cannot open the Rule Editor Pane anymore. It keeps the game window up and will not transition and then it will eventually crash. I tried opening up some of the example games to see if it was something I did but I am getting the same result with the actors in the example games.

Any ideas on what I can do?

    Of course, try rebooting PC. Then if that doesn't work try uninstalling & reinstalling Game Salad. Obviously, it does without saying to back up your work to a non Game Salad folder just in case. Can't ever say that I had that happen to me, but I would imagine it should clear up with a fresh install. Otherwise, I would know what the deal is.
