Hey just saw the iPad 2nd generation and wanted your thoughts on it!

I am BUYING the 16GB white one ASAP because I think it is AWESOME!

    I am debating whether I save my money for this AND the iphone 5, or adobe cs6 and the iphone 5. either way, I am getting the iphone 5. I have never owned an ipad though

    I love the white iDevices and the HD camera. It just depends how sales do this month, will determine if its worth getting.

    Love the new iPad 2.. going to be getting one myself.. but pondering a thought.
    It says it can do mobile hotspot now..

    So if you buy the WiFi only model - can you connect your iphone to it and use it's 3G data support
    and NOT have to add on the AT&T Tethering price?

    If u jailbreak then yes u can tether it for sure.

    I'm (so far) the only one to vote that I didn't really care, while 14 others voted yes ^-^;

    In all honesty I think it looks good and all, the screen cover is a great concept too - but the only time I tend to get really worked up is about a totally new design; that and the iPhone 4 because I knew it would be my first touch iDevice.

    My biggest relief was that the screen resolution was remaining at 1024 x 768 ^-^;

    That said, if I had the money to spare, I'd still buy one - the video side alone would be awesome.

    no no no in the keynote jobs said ios 4.3 will have tethering only for iphone 4 so sorry dudes

    Too bad Singapore is not included on the first 26 countries ipad2 is gonna be shipped this month... i want the white one badly as a gift to my wife.....and myself as well.

    I have 4.3 on my 3GS and tethering works just fine (hot spot).

    I assume, now we will see apps with HD+ signs, due to 2x CPU and 9x Graphics

    Now you can use bigger textures and better modells for 3D games, which won't run on the lowPad.

    Cool... more confusion on the appstore.

    Without a doubt more Apple design genius but pretty low blow for the first adopters that after a year their new devices fall off the supported list. I feel like I've only had my iPad 5 minutes (8 months) and already it won't be running the latest software..that may upset the millions of users for whom this was their first Apple device. You still have to spend +$100 to get the thing connected too!! Anyway looking forward to getting mine along with my next trip to rehab.

    Even if it doesn't happen, because most developers will try to serve the bigger userbase and develop for the lowPad (my term, because I don't want to type "first generation iPad" every time :-P), Apple will make it unusable with iOSX 6 or 7 at latest, so everybody has to buy a new one.

    The iOSX will run so slow on them, that you will have no other option, than upgrade, like they did it with the 3G.

    My wife says we need the 32 3G model. Yes 3G because we are not the type to jailbreak our iPhones or get tethering on our iPhones and lose my unlimited data plan.

    I can't wait for the ipad. I play guitar, and love music, so all these music apps are going to take up my time. Some of them are just AMAZING. like one is called the Korg ielectribe and its like a beatmaker. originally it was an actual machine made into an app. Looks amazing. I can't wait for all of the Hd games and photobooth and everything really.

    and Why are you guys waiting in line? why not just order it? It will take all of your day and you possibly won't get one.
