new user... i have a couple of questions

I am new to this and i have a couple of questions so if anyone can help me out that would be great!

I am just doing this for fun to start but eventually i would like to be able to make paid applications.

1) If I were to make a paid application does gamesalad get a part of that?
2) When I make my game does it say I made it on gamesalad? Like a logo or watermark or something? (I don't mind if it does i was just wondering)
3) Do you have to buy the subscription to make paid games or iphone/ipad/mac games?
4) And just any general opinions about this if you have any!

    Welcome!

    1) Nope, only Apple but you pay a fee to GS to publish. But it's free to use.
    2) Yep, it's a lot more brief and slick than it used to be though.
    3) Yes to Apple a fee of $99/yr and to GS.

    2) yes. There's a splash screen.

    3) no. You just need a 99$ apple iOS developer license.

    Welcome to the forum. a good search would have found most of those answers for you. but since i'm typing anyway

    Q1 - No
    Q2-Yes, Go download Galactic.Towers Free and you will see the splash screen they add.
    Q3 - No subscription to GameSalad there is however a $99/ year subscription to apple for iOS developer and/or an additional $99/year subscription for Mac Developer
    Q4 - GameSalad is great. it does lack in a few areas but you have to keep in mind there is no coding so deal with the lacking's if you want to do drag and drop programing

    thanks for all your replies! so i am just wondering what benefits the yearly subscription gets you. i see iAds but thats it? so i will be able to to basically everything except put ads on? cause if thats true then THIS IS AMAZING!!
